Local authorities are under increasing pressure to cut costs, which makes the recovery of unpaid council tax and Non-domestic rates, also known as business rates, crucial in allowing them to deliver essential services to the local community.

Once a liability order is received, BPS Enforcement will start the recovery process by issuing the Notice of Enforcement giving the debtor 14 clear days to make payment in full. (Legislation states that only 7 days notice is required, however our company policy is to extend this to 14 days)
If no payment is received, then one of our dedicated Enforcement Agents will make an attendance.
